Well I had a horrible roaring sounding and vibration in the car the other day, got under there and saw several grease fittings on the driveshaft carrier bearings and on the U-joints. I greased them and voila! Noise has gone. I noticed on the bottom there was a lot of slung grease on the floorpan...it looks like something that you need to keep on top of....just food for thought!

I had something like that happen on my H1. The vibration caused damage and took out my transfer case. Gotta keep that running smoothly.

carrier bearings need to be replaced from time to time...also when you have your oil changed have the rear wheels removed and the hub inspected for greas comming out.... when they build a limo they do not beef up the rear axel .. the bearing wears due to the xtra weight... inlarge limos 100 `120 16 and 200 these ned to be watched... nothing worse then to see your rear whell pass you on the road ... please excuse my typing skills
