In a month I'll be picking up a new monster limo. It's my 39 1/2 foot H2 limo. I will of course be posting videos daily while I'm out vacationing on business. *Wink Wink*.
I know that when you cut a car you loose the factory warranty. Some manufacturers actually tell you to drop some cash on the service manager to get them to cover things under warranty by not mentioning that the vehicle has been altered. I find this to be unethical. If they want to cover it under warranty that's awesome. But to pay them off to try and sneak by. I don't think that is proper.
So I am wondering if it is best to just pay for all repairs out of my pocket? Or should I get an insurance policy to replace the original factory warranty?
Well since I have never owned a new car, I can't tell you. My wife has a new car, and I can tell you from that part of our experience that the new car warranty wasnt really worth a damn.
however, you already know how much that hummers cost to get repaired, so it might be worth it. hopefully the warranty from the coachbuilder is a decent one.
I would suggest calling Phil Brun at Kiely Hines Insurance in Louisville, hes a member of limos.com.
here's another guy that used to be pretty active on limos.com. he advertises limo warranty insurance. Steve Burgess ACC Warranty Services 10125 Haverhill Ridge Road Riverview, FL 33569
