I'm not mentioning names but I know a service locally that their regular business practice is to "live auction" their reservations....say they get one 8 hours at 100 per hour. if someone calls, they tell the customer, "its 8 hours at 110 per hour" then they cancel the 100 and take the 110 they did a concert quoted 110, took reservation, then called back the next day, said they couldnt do it, used lame excuse....then the customer found out that someone else got that limo for 125 per hour. thats bad business.....

Ouch! I think this falls under ethics. In the long run those with some good ethics and morals will come out on top.
In my industry of video games there are some sellers out there that have done some pretty crazy things like this. I heard about one of them that got busted for stealing the credit card info from their customers and making purchases with them. Unfortunately that company is still around and gets lots of customers. But they have a tarnished image with anyone who has been a customer of this industry for a while. So they are only getting the newer customers into this area. Just think of where they would be if they offered good service and did not screw their customers. I think it hurts them and ultimately bid selling will hurt this limo company you are referring to.

Yes, it is very irritating when those other fools get away with that kind of stuff.. Theres a few companies up here that are running without insureance and the proper licensing.. All you have to do is concentrate on yourself and do things right, it always come back to you good or bad.
