We had the most amazing ride last night out of all the limousine services I’ve tested. I was really impressed with it. We chose a company called JMI Limousines, they are at http://www.JMILimousine.com and we did their fly and dine. It was pretty sweet. They picked us up at our house and they took us out to a nice golf course called The Reserve. We had some appetizers out there and then we boarded a helicopter. Then we flew down town and went to Portland City Grill, which is up on the 30th floor of the U.S Bank tower. It’s an awesome view. After that we headed back home.
I just wanted to tell everyone about this because it was the most amazing experience last night. I talked a little bit about my previous posts or blogs that it’s not just a ride form location to location; it’s about the fantasy and about the experience. JMI gets an A+ for this package they put together. ME: So we decided to go out for my wife’s 40th birthday tonight and we are, oops, did I just give away her age? Damn. Well I will have to pay for that one later.

ME: We rented a limo package from JMI limousines, they are here in Portland Oregon and we have Randy (Aka Ran) as our driver. So far I am pretty impressed. We received calls from Johnny at JMI letting us know how everything was going to go and getting us all set-up. Ran even called when he arrived in the area to let us know he was there and asked if we were ready to go early or if he wanted him to just wait out front, I suppose that was to see if we wanted to impress the neighbors. Alright, I will see you in a little bit.
ME: Ok, so, this is the second part of this trip. We’re actually heading out on a helicopter downtown; we have the pilot Rob here. We will see if I can actually give some commentary while I am flying around. It will probably be too loud though but I will give it a try.
ME: We’re getting ready to take off here. I doubt you can hear me but I will try. This would be The Reserve Golf Course, we’re heading out of here and the next stop is my house. Okay so we just got a chance to see our house! Well not really, it’s hard to see from up here. It was kind of a drive-by. We’re heading to the heliport now and then to the Portland City Grill to get a bite to eat! Thanks for the ride. That was fun, we’ll have to do that again some time!
ME: So we just landed, we’re safe and we’re in one piece. My wife had no idea about that, oh, you can hear it taking off. Here is a quick look at the car and our chauffer. The car is actually Krystal, the car is a pretty nice car and I am really enjoying it. I take back everything I said about them being only for funerals. It’s been a nice ride and a really nice driver compliments it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So as you can see we had a really good time. We have an excellent driver, his name was Randy. We got a chance to ride in a Krystal car which is something I haven’t done before. It was just overall a really good experience. JMI offers this package basically once a year. They have an annual date that they choose. It’s done in the summer for a really reasonable price. Or, if you want to do it out of season like we just did they can do that too.
