So Marcus just got a phone call informing him that the modified contract he sent to the bank was approved and that the wire was sent for the second limo. Limo number 2! H2, 39 ½ ft long, tandem axles, two toned paint, chrome wheels, the works! Plus it’s going to be brand new! He was going to make a few comments on the contract and the clauses that they had in the contract for the load to get the vehicle. It seemed kind of odd.

ME: First of all they called it a “lease”. It’s not a lease so I corrected them on that terminology and they did change it so that it did say it was a loan. They had some really strange things in there. One of the was I could not make any modifications to the vehicle. DUH, it’s a limo! Another thing was that it was that we could not do any delivery service or taxi service or anything else that’s for hire. There was also some other stuff in there. I ended up crossing out several lines and they just told me that anything I didn’t agree with I could just go ahead and cross it out and put my initials next to it. They would then have their legal team look at it and see if they could accept that. I crossed out several items and even a paragraph, which talked about if my tire tread got down below a certain point that I had to replace the tire. That if I got a scratch over two inches long that I had to fix the scratch. I didn’t think that was appropriate for a loan, maybe for a lease, but not a loan. I am going to fix the stuff anyway, especially if we get scratches or damages down inside the vehicle. My customers will be paying for that, well, whoever does it!

Alright so the good news is you got the loan and it’s been sent over for the second limo. We are getting closer to Portland; we’re about 130 miles away I believe. The main tank is mostly working so we could probably get there on this. We may need to fill up before we get there but we’ll be there soon.
